Rowing is a forceful sport and the movement is not naturally learned such as running or cycling. Unlike swimming, where movement is prevented through wrong motions, a flawed execution in rowing can actually be harmful to the back or joints. That is why the right exercise execution is so important, especially for people with little rowing experience.
